Hunger in our Communities
How does hunger in your community affect YOU?.... does it???. Why do you care why should you care? All good though provoking questions.... and they need thought provoking answers.
I hope some of the info provided here will make you think more of why and how to get involved with something in your own community.
Plant a garden, donate to a food drive, volunteer to help at a food bank. Do something about it, if you don't...who will?
These photos were taken at our last work party, March 12th, 2011 at
Rotary First Harvest, in the Kent warehouse. Come help us...any 2nd Saturday of the month.... let us know how we are doing... info@redmondrousersrotary.org

Women in Rotary
I am now in the RC of Redmond Rousers and am the club President. I was also the secretary for 2 years and have been on the board as the Community Service chair, program chair. I volunteer at the District level for our GSE committe, Partners for Work, and this year will help with the conference. For a short period of time I helped the Sammamish Rotary club get chartered too in 2003. Thanks Mom....for teaching me the 4-way test and helping me find my passion, ROTARY.

You can click on this link to find out more information and where they are located. Once you are on that site, you can see more about WORLD peace and understanding and there is more info to find at the bottom of those pages. HAPPY READING!!!

NUTRITION and YOUR health
John W. Cartmell is a nutritionist in our Redmond Rousers Rotary Club. His presentation about health, nutrition and drug interactions was great. Go see John for a complete health work up and diagnostic check up for you...he takes most insurance and works with you to determine what is ailing your body. He can help fix your problems and make you feel better. Click on the link above to go directly to john's website for more info...or get his E-Book about Fibromyalgia, from Amizon, online....for your new reader.

Redmond Rousers Rotarians of the 4th Quarter 2010
Something new this year I started was our Club recognition of members who "step-up" and do great things for the club. The Rotarian of the Quarter awards are fun and give people a chance to be recognized for the value they bring to the table while doing SERVICE ABOVE SELF. Scott Bell with Media Design and Deana Hale with Edward Jones Investments are our top people of this quarter. WAY TO GO!!!

Dino Rossi - A business man on the Rotary circut, meeting people.
Even though Dino Rossi did not win his past few campaigns, he continued to carry the Rotary support and meet people, businesses and community leaders in his last campaigns. Dino is a conservitive with years of business leadership and experience. The Redmond Rousers & our REBEL ROUSERS, commends him for the effort in going the extra mile for his causes. There's a saying that comes to mind right now..."when life gives you lemons, make lemonaide". I'm sure Dino is figuring out what to do now, with all the lemonaide he's had to make in the past few years. He's smart, he'll find something great and do well. We wish him good luck in the future.
